- Edit and manage listings and inventory where the platform provides API access (for Etsy: Etsy Open API v3 after OAuth).
- Etsy note: full buyer Conversations / inbox are not available to third-party apps through the public Open API the way many sellers expect — we do not claim Etsy message automation on this site or in our app description.
- Promotions: many marketplaces restrict how sales and discounts are created; MeshX only automates what each platform’s documented API allows (for Etsy, shop “sales” are typically managed in Etsy’s own shop tools, not via a public create-sale API).
- Built with compliance in mind: we match our marketing and application text to what the APIs actually support.

Connect production capacity with demand: printers can discover and claim work originating from MeshX Create users, with clear handoff into production.
- Order flow oriented around claim, produce, and ship — with status visibility for sellers.
- For Etsy, MeshX uses Open API v3 to read receipts / transactions the seller authorises, so fulfilment partners can produce only the orders that seller routed into Print Network — not a bulk resale or transfer of Etsy member data outside that purpose.
- Print partners can also leverage Create for costing and catalogue workflows where it helps their operation.
- Designed to grow with rules, SLAs, and regions you define as the network matures.
Transparency
Etsy Open API v3 — what MeshX uses it for
Marketplace reviewers and sellers should see the same story. MeshX is built by MeshX Software Ltd (UK); this page is the public summary that matches how we describe the app to Etsy.
- OAuth 2.0 — we access an Etsy shop only after the seller explicitly authorises MeshX.
- Listings, images & inventory — MeshX Create prepares designs and listing-ready data; MeshX calls Open API v3 to create or update listings, images, and inventory the seller chooses to publish or sync.
- Orders for fulfilment — MeshX Print Network uses Open API v3 to read order / receipt data the seller authorises, so production and shipping can be coordinated with vetted print partners the seller uses. We describe this as fulfilment under the seller’s direction — not selling or licensing Etsy’s API or buyer data to unrelated third parties (see Etsy’s API terms).
- Shop Manager — listing and inventory operations through Open API v3 where documented. We do not claim Etsy inbox / Conversations automation via API, because that is not how Etsy’s public API works today.
- Sales & promotions — we do not claim a special API to create Etsy shop-wide “sales” if Etsy does not document that for apps; sellers continue to use Etsy’s own sale tools where required.
This wording is intentionally conservative so our website, Etsy application, and shipped product stay aligned. Final legal interpretation of Etsy’s API terms is your counsel’s job — we avoid the common mistake of implying we transfer Etsy data to unnamed “third parties” beyond what the seller authorises for their own business (e.g. fulfilment). Commercial access & review (what sellers and Etsy staff look for)
General-purpose seller tools need commercial API access (not only “personal” keys for your own shop). Community reports vary from a few weeks to several months for review — plan ahead. If an application stalls, developers often contact Etsy developer help (see official channels; response times are not guaranteed).
- Website matches the form — the URL you give Etsy (this site) should describe the same features and data uses as the application text.
- OAuth for private shop data; no screen-scraping as a substitute for the API.
- Branding — app name and visuals must follow Etsy’s trademark policy; MeshX must not look like an official Etsy product.
- Caching & API terms — follow Etsy’s documented request and caching rules.
- Sensitive fields — if you request
transaction_r/ buyer-related fields, Etsy may require separate approval (e.g. buyer email) — confirm current scope docs before submitting.

Is MeshX live?
The product is in development. This site is here so you can understand what we’re building and reach us for early-access conversations.
Which marketplaces do you support?
We’re designing around major channels including Etsy, eBay, Amazon, and TikTok Shop. Exact coverage will depend on each platform’s APIs and your subscription.
Do I need all three products?
No. Many users will start with MeshX Create and MeshX Shop Manager, or with Create alone. MeshX Print Network matters when you want outsourced production.
How do you handle marketplace rules?
We integrate through official APIs and documented flows. Features are described accurately to app reviewers and users — we don’t market evasion of platform policies.
What will MeshX use the Etsy API for?
See Etsy Open API v3 — what MeshX uses it for above: listings, images, inventory, and authorised receipt/order reads for Print Network fulfilment — described in line with Etsy’s terms, without claiming unsupported messaging or sale-creation APIs.
How long does Etsy API approval take?
Timelines vary widely — sellers report weeks to months for commercial access. Submit a complete, accurate application, keep meshx.uk aligned with it, and use Etsy’s official developer help if you need a status update. MeshX cannot expedite Etsy’s queue.
Does MeshX use AI?
Yes — meaningfully. MeshX Create is built around capable models for generation, refinement, and listing-oriented copy. Other products use intelligence where it genuinely speeds safe, compliant work. We improve the stack continuously.
